Christmas is coming and the goose is getting FAT!!
Well its been a month or so since i updated and since mum was here today telling me i was due a new blog post thanks to, mentioning no names (CLAIRE!) i thought i would update.
There is no news really of Daniels health - which is good. He is well, eating well, sleeping well and enjoying nursery. I have so much to be thankful for. I read time and time again about the kids with the same (or similar) disease's to Daniels and how ill they are, how they lack in energy, how they are not eating and how they are in hospital over and over again, and i do often ask myself how come WE are the lucky ones? Daniel is an amazing child. He continues to makes us laugh and smile and is FULL of bouncing energy from the minute he wakes - asking for breakfast!!
Again, watching him and Olivia play, if only for a few brief moments until world war 3 starts, i find myself teary - and thanking the Lord (or whoever you believe in) for each and every day, each and every moment.
As i called this post - christmas is coming, this will be Daniels 4th Christmas and he is already pre-paring himself for the big night and keep mentioning the dreaded "power rangers" (which i assume he has picked up on in school?) although when asked "what would you like for Christmas?" my sweet boy relpied "i dont need anything", I mean how sweet is that. My child, unlike no ordinary child, who suffers with stuff more than most "normal" kids and he doesnt need anything for Christmas. That is him, special in every way.....so un-selfish that he doesnt NEED any christmas presents - sweet funny boy.
Well as i sit here typing thinking of what the next few months will bring - the excitement, laughter, decorations.....oooh i start to smile and wonder just what Santa will bring this year??
Love to you all & Goodnight xxx
