Disney

Well after our 5 day trip to disney I am pleased to say that the weather is actually better here in sunny Liverpool!
It started off with a (not so fun) crossing over from Dover to Calais and the weather just got no better - having said that we all made it out pact not to let it spoil the holiday (OK so it was just me!) The four of us went with my sister, hubby and my nephew James. When we arrived after our long journey by car (which the kids where so well behaved) we asked to have rooms near each other in the hotel "Disneys Sequioa Lodge" we where suprised to be given adjoining rooms which actually turned out to be quite a blessing - since it ment the kids could all wander from room to room! We got settled in and headed out into the rain to "introduce" Laura and Co. to the joys of "Eurodisney", (which by the way seem so much better in the sun) . We headed to bed for an early night after tea. On the Tuesday we headed to Disneyland and the kids where amazed by the castle and all the characters....it actually stayed quite dry and nice until about 4.30pm when the heavens opened...we went on all the rides, even James and Daniel took to the sky on loads of different rides....Richard on the other hand (wimp!!) was left with the bags (and kids) whislt me, Mike and Laura tried a few rollarcoasters! After tea each night we played cards and had a drink and relax while the kids got their much needed rest.
Wednesday was the day to visit the studios and the day started off with serious rain and a very cold day, so much so, Laura invested 25 euro in a waterproof jacket! It rained practically all day but we did get a few dry patches when the "high school musical parade" came out, Olivia then decided to try the "rock n rollarcoaster" with us 3 so Richard watched the kids while we took her on - she loved it!
Thursday we headed back into the orginal Disney park and it actually stayed dry.....cold, but dry! We can all live with cold (even with cropped pants and t-shirts) but the wet weather did kind of dampen Wednesday... We tried a few more rides and ate toffee apples and generally had a good day. Infact the whole holiday was good we all enjoyed it.
On Friday we left for home after a quick visit to the supermarket! Again the kids where so good and slept alot of the way home. Admittedly the in car DVD player mum bought Olivia for her Birthday helped!

I will attach a link to my facebook site to take a look at the photos.... saves me posting them twice...so click on the link and take a look, hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we enjoyed being there!

Much Love
Liz xx
