Something nice

Ok, so after my last few posts i decided to write something nice for a change.
Things are good. Michael started his new job on Monday and i am well impressed at how fast he is home (literally 8 mins door to door!) as is he. He has always travelled a distance to work, one time, when we first got together travelling all the way upto Carlisle (nr the scottish border)! so to be only a few minutes away its a definate advantage.
Daniel is ok, his tummy bug took well over a week to clear but eventually has subsided. Today he is nursery and will no doubt come home with loads of pictures and things. We have had a REALLY BUSY week this last week. My neice has been staying with us and i had planned a full fun packed week, however with the weather the activites have been altered costing me an absolute fortune!! We have been to Chester zoo ( i say we, but actually i had to work, so Michael took the kids), Underwater Street (a childrens discovery centre), a travelling fair and out for tea. Monday we did the park, mcdonalds and "the wacky warehouse"!, Tuesday we all went to Southport for the day and the kids had great fun in the arcade, Olivia & Amie each had £5 and spent it in 5 minutes, Daniel however was happy with a pound pot full of 2p's which he got out of the change machine and thought he had won the money!! We had ice cream and walked along the front, it was the first day for weeks it didnt rain. Then yesterday met up with my sister and my baby nephew James (who is not even 11 months and is walking now!) and went swimming. Daniel is still unable to last more than about 40 mins in the pool until he starts shivering and practically going blue....i am SURE this is down to the fact he is sooo skinny and has no weight on his bones (another added complication of liver disease) but we all had fun anyway!
We are headed upto Scotland this weekend to take Amie home, i am looking forward to a little break and an uneventful one this time.
I am in a much better place in my mind and am thinking of all the fun stuff me and the kids can do in the "summer" Holidays!!

xx

Liz,
I'm so glad you are feeling happier. I hope we are included in those summer holidays somewhere! Big kisses to Olivia and my little man!
Love
