"The Wedding" and stuff!
Truth is, things are quite quiet....i say quite with slight anticpation as we have yet to have an appointment for Daniel....(March 18th) which in itself is a story.....i shall cut it sort.
It has been nearly 6 months since Daniel has seen anyone and almost 9 months since he had any blood tests...now you may think, this is GOOD, they obviously think he is ok, WRONG!! All our appointments have been messed up by various hospital trusts resulting in a total mess that left us with NO APPOINTMENT till JULY! Arghhhhhhh. I was NOT happy with this and so phoned one of the aforementioned NHS trusts and after much deliberation negociated a new appointment for March 18th. Bearing in mind, we are just "slotted in" and may have to wait. Anyway maintaining a good relationship with the PA of Daniels Doc is paramount and after talking last week i think we managed to keep our relationship in tact!
The photo's above are off Michael brothers wedding last week, which was in an beautiful setting in Dumfries, Scotland. Daniel wore the obligitury kilt, as did 2 of his cousins...they looked so cute all together and i hasen to add behaved so well, people commented on how well our kids behaved and i felt so proud. Olivia looking like a princess is also pictured above and looked "simply stunning", she and her cousin "Amie" who is of a similar age posed wonderfully for photos, that is until, they got hungry and sick of the cold february day! The kids lasted till nearly 11pm and by that time, truth is, i was ready for bed too (light weight that i am!) Im guessing you know whp the other photos are?! The whole day was lovely, with each and every aspect of the wedding being planned in every detail - all baby pink and white and the bride looked stunning...We had a great day and wish the new Mr & Mrs Beamish all the look for the future.
Nothing much else happening (well nothing that is printable yet anyway ;-) ) This week is mothers day and i confess to having not bought mum anything yet....truth is, my mum is wonderful, helpful, kind, and is basically one of my best friends, the question is, what do you buy for someone that expresses that? But apart from Mothers day we are hoping to have a quiet for weeks after the last few weekends being manic busy (Scotland, London, Scotland!) and intend to just spend sometime with the kids at home. We have taken some time off at Easter so will look forward to a small break then.
Thanks for checking in, and i will be sure to update on Daniels tests once the 18th March has passed.
Much Love
xx
