Appointments & BABYS!
OK, so by now most of you who read this will know "I am Pregnant"! Yes, thats right, i am due to have our 3rd precious bundle in September! I have a mixture of feelings about this - mostly excitement and i approach the end of the first trimester (i am now 12 wks) i look forward to the blooming stage! But, let me tell you pregnancy is NO easy ride with 2 other kids in tow.....so for those of you who are or will soon become 1st time mums - enjoy this one (pregnancy) because it may the last one you ever will!
Truth is the last 12 wks have been HARD, i have had the nausea......things smelling weird......constant tiredness and thats just for starters, my immmune system must of crashed throught the floor and i have caught every bug going...including this latest one which has knocked me for six and i am still waiting for my energy levels to return.
I go for my scan on Monday 31st of March there they will confirm my due date - which at the moment stands at 28th sept. People keep asking me if i will be more closely monitored during this pregnancy due to what happened with Daniel, but as i explain to them, BA is not detectable via ultrasound therfore it really wouldnt make a difference this time.
Daniel had his local check up last Tuesday, to be honest i really wanted him to have bloods as its been such a while since the last set of labs, but the doctor said he looked well and seemed to be coming on so to leave the bloods this time. Now for those of you who dont have a "liver child" you would probably think "this is good" but for me and the rest of us parents who do, its just a longer wait till next time. He had grown in height and weight and the doctor was extremely pleased with him. We did discuss sports, as Daniel is due to start full time school in September! (scary - i know!) he said not to sign him up for rugby, or karate/tia kwondo as contact sports with a "large liver and spleen" are a real no no...but there are several sports he can take part in and much to his delight "football" is a goer!
Think thats it for this time....have a lovely Easter this weekend, will update some more after my scan!

I feel your frustration with Daniel not having bloods. I would have wanted them too.

I would be frustrated about the bloods too :( It's nice to go without, but not TOO long...
