End of week 1.....back in hosp!

Well we got NEARLY a week at home! Thats good i guess considering they said it could be months before we where home.....I was away on a girlie weekend in London with my Mum, Sister and Olivia (and i had a good time too!). Michael rang me on Sunday to say Daniel had some blood in his poo and he had some the night before too....after speaking to Oncology they said to come in for some Platelets....he ended up needing blood and platelets and they think as they where so low (platelets - 5!!) thats what caused the bleeding....they let him come home Sunday to enjoy his Sunday lunch courtesy of Grandma, however after dinner he spiked a temp of 38.7 and so needed to go back in again (poor Michael backwards and forwards!) this time they kept him and gave him IV antibiotics, he has been seen by the surgeon who still thinks the bleeding was just platelet issues and nothing else...so now we wait again, if his temp stays down he might be able to come home in 48hrs but the clock starts again if it spikes again.
He seems alot better in himself and has gone to "school" in hosp. again....im off after lunch with Lewis to see them then i will be staying over tonight, thanks for checking in on us - keep checking xx
