Our Holidays, an apology and an update on us!!

Where on earth do i start? Hmmmm, ALOT has happened since my last update in May and now i have so much to say - to be honest i doubt wether this blog gets read at all anymore since its so long between posts! (thats my apology for the 3 or 4 loyal readers!! lol)Firstly, we are home from our weeks Holiday to Devon, and we had a wonderful time, luckily for us the weather was FAB and the kids enjoyed riding donkeys,(see photos above) swimming in the outdoor pool and splashing in the sea! It was relaxing for me, in as much as a holiday with 2 kids can be but to be honest Michael was a gem and took it upon himself to look after his pregnant wife and children! Being 7 months pregnant and in the heat was very tiring and i found myself incapable of doing much - i did enjoy swimming with the kids in the pool and some lazy days at the beach aswell as a fun filled day at a local devonshire theme park. I was so ready for the break as was Michael and the kids and we would definatly consider the same place again.
Daniel health wise is well. He hasnt had any more checks since Leeds but we did receive an appointment in Liverpool for October. But, so far so good. We went to see his headteacher and his teacher for september before the school holidays began and explained in a little more detail what could/may happen should Daniel ever suffer from some of the consequences of his Portal Hypertension not to dwell to much on the bad but at the mention of a possible "bleed" (bearing in mind we have no idea if he has varicies or not) his teacher looked rather pale....oh well, in my opinion, for warned is for armed and therfore prepared.
Daniel is very excited about starting "big school" in a few weeks time and cant wait to be like his big sister and stay for his lunch....we are shortly taking him shopping to pick his new lunch box! (something power rangers - i bet!!) I am exicted and nervous all at the same time.
My pregnancy is going ok, i am now 32 weeks today and so have 8 weeks left! I am still finding it hard to believe in just 8 weeks we will have a new little person in our lives and we are still undecided about his name - i think it will be something we pick when he is born, we do have 2 or 3 names we like, but so far, no clear winner!
This pregnancy hasnt been like either of my other 2 and has been constant interfering from all the health proffesionals i know! There is a possiblity i have a condition called Obsteric Cholostatis which bizarly is a liver condition limited to pregnancy and my ALT (or a liver number for you non technical persons!) is way higher than it should be, however my bile acids are fine and this is the main indication for this condition....so i am being treated for it but no-one actually knows if i have it or not, for now, we play safe.
I had a growth scan last week and baby already weighs 4lbs!! I was shocked! I think this means we are looking at a 9lb 'der for a full term babe.
I will be honest and say the main thing for me this time, is the tiredness, and so therfore i will not say when i may update again, hopefully before our new arrival but knowing me - who knows!
Thanks for checking in on us - hope you are well?!
Liz xx
