Milk & Stuff!
Hooray, today we celebrate, Daniel is finally allowed to stop the "Infatrini" perscription milk he has been on for over a year! It does mean having to buy several pints of milk a week, but for those of you who listen to me moaning, you will know how much he hated the milk and in recent times I have a job to get 2 cartons a day (totalling 400 mls, should be 500 mls at least) so spoke to the "dietitian" at "Leeds" who said as he was 18 months (tomorrow) and his weight was constantly on the same centile (weight chart) he has been given the OK to go on full fat cows milk, and should hopefully make the 500mls mark? Only time will tell, perhaps he wont like it? but the dietitian seems to think it will be more of a drink than a food.
The watery poo has finally subsided, although sloppy would still be a good descripition and its now quite a "brown" colour, funny isn't it I never really looked at Poo Pre-Daniel, but have since learned you can tell so much by the colour of ones poo!, this is good for Daniel and brown poo means the bile is flowing but we knew this by his bloods, only its flowing slowly and not enough to stop the "portal Hypertension". Still, brown poo is good.
Nursery - He is finally enjoying himself, so much so I decided to get him in all day on a Friday, so now he does 1 full day a week and comes home with paintings, stencillings, and even planed a daffodil last week - WOW i hear you say what a clever 18 month old! Anyway, I'm not worrying the same and they are good with him he even says "Emma", shes the one who looks after him at nursey and is worth her weight in gold!
Will update on the Milk business when he starts it the end of the week.
Bye for Now
