Easter & Scotland update...

Well, having been to Scotland 2 weekends on the run - i can honestly say being home is sooooo nice! Seriously though, we spent Easter Weekend with Mikes Brother and family and had a really lovely time staying in a local B & B in Linlithgow (nr Edinburgh) which is where they live. It was out nephews Birthday on Easter Monday so on the sunday my sister in Law did a little party (3rd b'day) Daniel and Olivia took great pleasure in "pin the tail on the donkey" and "pass the parcel" honestly i dont think a child is ever to old for a good old fashion party - and it just reminded me why i have done that for Daniel the last 2 years and will be having his third at home too! (mad , i know!) On the Easter Sunday morning the kids did "egg rolling" which involved us all trekking up to "Linlithgow Palace" and the kids throwing decorated eggs down a hill until they smashed - having never done this before Olivia thought it was very amusing, yet Daniel totally unaware of what was happening was just bemused by the whole concept - ME TOO actually!!
This weekend we where back up for our other nephew - Taylor, christening which went off ok, it was a long service for the kids but worth it to see our nephew being welcomed into the Lords family....Yes, i am back on speaking terms with God...and seriously thinking of taking Daniel to church on a sunday for sunday school - i attended from i was 3 until i finally became a sunday school teacher! I'm thinking he would enjoy that?
Everything else is fine, Olivia was back to school today after a 2 week break and was desperate to get back in her summer dresses - what it is to love school!
Daniel is still not eating well, i'm thinking its just his age again, he is becoming so aware of things, including his scar on his tummy and has taken to calling people "fatty bum bum"! Kids - dont you just love em! I do worry about his eating but he has put a little weight on and continues to grow....
Thats about all for now - we do have a new digital camera and have taken loads of new and exciting photos so i will promise to post them very soon! - keep checking!
Hugs to all

Can I call this post " The Buggar??"

Not sure if its ok to call this post "the buggar"? But that in a nutshell is my sweet little inocent liver baby.....he is well and truly in the buggar stage and even calls himself one (bad mummy). Right now he is not doing what he is told, repeating what everyone is saying, not co-operating, and not eating anything he hasnt picked for himself - so basically a buggar is what he is right now - all be it a healthy one!!
I didnt post after his last GI visit to our local clinic for a start he didnt have any labs (looked soo well aparently) and we are off to Leeds in June so the consultant felt that was soon enough! He was so pleased with how he was coming on he had put a little weight on and had gotten taller and he was saying and doing all he should....(or far too much more really!) so clinic went well and nothing much to update - infact the consultant said he would be happy to go longer inbetween checks but i decided since its only 20 mins to our local appointment we would keep it at 6 monthly for now....
Daniel is such a "boy" - i now understand when people say about the difference in boys and girls and believe me until you have one of each you may never fully understand BUT he plays in mud, picks up sticks, is constantly dirty and loves the outdoors, we cant take him to a restaurant because its boring and nothing keeps this child entertained - except his sister!
All in all he is a lovely, funny boy with a developing personality and i wouldnt change him for anything - I thank God each day he is alive and well and laugh at his antics for the shear and simple point being " he is here"....
I took a few photos at the weekend in the local country park again, i will try and post them soon...you can see his cheeky smile.....
Please remember a freind of mine who's son is currently in a critical condition in the US, we are thinking of them both daily.....
HUGS
